I wanna be in the air The same that carries you For a moment a year No talking of the view Our little plans and schemes Transpiring Boy, you feel the wait Was or wasn’t it a dream we had or no? Now the days are fading Boy, you feel the wait Was or wasn’t it a dream we had or no? Now the days are fading Don’t pretend that you’re caught in A constant haze of the current I took a walk to the edge And turned to face the time Somewhere between now and then It must have slipped my mind You were up ahead In a distant afternoon Reliving it Boy, you feel the wait Was or wasn’t it a dream we had or no? Now the days are fading (days are fading) Boy, you feel the wait (was or wasn’t it?) Boy, you feel the wait (was or wasn’t it?) For the first time, always If I’m leaving, I’m stalling For the first time, always If I’m leaving, I’m stalling For the first time, always

You chose to hide away, two feet in Dissolved apart from us Can’t go moving on Comes in tidal waves, slipping back Holding what you can Of past in the waiting Of future recalled from another home Where you could dance As the saints were marching in Show me how it started Just as I’d lost you, perfectly out of time Lord knows I wanted to be in that number with you When the moon covers the sun And turns red as warm blood I’d have turned to you Without fear of what’s to come Knowing that as the rest melts away It would have felt like it always had, Resolved to oblivion But you chose to hide away, two feet in Dissolved in part for us Can’t go moving on Comes in tired ways, turning back As though decisions made before you were born Before you were born Before you were born Before you were born So tired of waiting to get back to where we already were Where was I when we fell from them to us? So show me how it started Just as I’d lost you, perfectly out of time Lord knows I wanted to be in that number with you (You chose to hide) Lord knows I wanted to be in that number with you (You chose to hide) Lord knows I wanted to be in that number with you (In fear of what you’d say) Lord knows I wanted to be in that number with you (You chose to hide away)

For What Was 03:58
Split me right from the start One half deserving more than the other Lean into stranger thoughts Stronger than I could dare ignore Once more once more once more Something I could be the first to know If you’d give it one more chance I’d give all that I was sure you’d hoped But I know it’s not the answer Now you’re dulling it down With every vain attempt to relate As every match holds a fire In all the histories burnt out of place Something I could be the first to know If you’d give it one more chance I’d give all that I was sure you’d hoped But I know it’s not the answer No way in love for what was No way in love for what was No way in love for what was Something I could be the first to know If you’d give it one more chance I’d give all that I was sure you’d hoped But I know it’s not the answer Something I could be the first to know If you’d give it one more chance I’d give all that I was sure you’d hoped But I know it’s not the answer I can’t help it [No way in love for what was] I want more from it [No way in love for what was] I can’t help it [No way in love for what was] I want more from it, from it [If I dream alone is it real love?] I can’t help it [No way in love for what was] I want more from it [No way in love for what was] [If I dream alone is it real love?] I can’t help it [No way in love for what was] I want more from it, from it [If I dream alone is it real love?] I can’t help it [No way in love for what was] I want more from it [No way in love for what was] [If I dream alone is it real love?] I can’t help it [No way in love for what was] I want more from it, from it

Liminal 02:57
Missing calls Go Underwater Into tunnels eyes closed Surfacing Allow Fear to enter I’ll Turn the wrong Side out Go take my time Offer me another one Go take your time I’ll be in the liminal Go take my time Offer me another one Go take your time I’ll be in the liminal Figured it all combines Is it full or hollow? And if you’re real have it all Should there even be a fight for it (I’m no) Go take my time Offer me another one (I’m no) Go take your time (Sideshow) I’ll be in the liminal (I’m no) (Figured it all combines) Go take my time (Is it full or hollow?) Offer me another one (I'm no) (And if you’re real have it all) Go take your time (Sideshow) I’ll be in the liminal

So Still 04:15
Search the street For parking, walking Back to meet You and question it all Our choices make us happy Mostly they guard us from The fear of moving the car I wanna be there for all All the practical stuff For the price of your mind you notice It’s gonna take me a while Never wanted to go until you said that you might I'm that age where there's more said than done Guess I had a good time So still, like there's something you wanna say Shrug it off for another day As if you'd shatter the morning air With an impossible sound So still, as if there's something you wanna say "I'm fine" but that can mean anything And all the time living in our heads Is only breaking us down Back inside We're pacing, racing A party screams at us From the neighbors next door Never wanted to go until you said that you might I'm that age where there's more said than done Guess I had a good time So still, like there's something you wanna say Shrug it off for another day As if you'd shatter the morning air With an impossible sound So still, as if there's something you wanna say "I'm fine" but that can mean anything And all the time living in our heads Is only breaking us down

All that I know is you threw your arms around and let go You could not say why you’d left it before We could ever have gone without All that I know all that you gave without ever knowing Seems your world’s spinning on as I’m left in the dark And I can’t keep my arms around it I won’t dig into this life I won’t dig in until this life is over In another world you were there beside me (hey) In other words you were out of sight If I had the nerve I would walk up to you (hey) What’s left unsaid will never rest for good All that I’d known seemed to dissolve When you would walk up to me, slow Always afraid to admit what was obvious But I’d make much of nothing Still I’d wait always Countless wasted moments gone for what Still I’d wait always Countless wasted moments hung on you I won’t dig into this life I won’t dig in until this life is over In another world you were there beside me (hey) In other words you were never mine If I had the nerve I would walk up to you (hey) What’s left unsaid will never rest until this life is over Still I’d wait always, Wasted moments I’d wait always, Wasted moments hung on you

Goners 03:04
When the sky is turning red And sun bleeds out its last Would you know that I’d Have loved you all this time Even through the lives we’d lived apart? Nights would raise no dawns And all those centuries burn I’d turn around, turn around To fall awake with you there Some piece of mind always kept Pure, if imperfectly born to life I know it’s not enough to hope When you can’t stop imagining An end as clear as night is black Oh, I’d carry all your past And feel you whole for once If it takes us right up to When nights would raise no dawns And all those centuries burn As the oldest eyes see young And not all lives end honest

I wanted to get out there anyway, try to catch a cold in for the day. To see a film meant more decisions, and no one watches television. It’s not that I could help it; to start I was a kid and cut my own hair in the dark— belief I found annoying. The talk of death could get so boring. Time goes to waste in a year, and I’m hoping that we’ll remain friends. Are you gonna be okay? Bet you’re thinking that there must be more to this, window shopping in a life that you made of glass. Oh won’t you tell me what you’re feeling, not another reason. Look around a land of fibers at the cars, at the stores all pushing nothing and at once; hope that you enjoy it— not that you can own it. Smile, are you really there, and you’ll give it everything that you can? Timeless and mean in the end, and you dare it, all we left unsaid

In A Year 03:49
You waved to New York Jumped in the passenger side A visage of dreamers Hung there in the mirror People always said We were born for each other I swear I was born for none Other than the hope We could make it for longer Oh how we proved them wrong I can’t force away the feeling I can’t force away the feeling Of racing up over the trees And parking lot squares Of gray bathed in amber Thought we’d be back in a year People always said We were born for each other I swear I was born for none Other than the hope We could make it for longer Oh how we proved them wrong

Comma, Comma 04:36
Bothered It’s killing, count me older This film that never was Make sure that I’m over it Comma, A pause that came on slowly And groceries for one Make sure that I’m over it Followed A call to know the hurting This film that never was Wake up so you’re over it Comma, The rest to follow swiftly With room for more than one Make sure that you’re over it I tried to be I tried being alone Alone Alone I tried to be I tried being alone Alone Alone I tried I tried I tried I tried to be I guess I’d never told ya I’d Figured it was all better Holding on, yet somehow I’d Not taken on December as You’d hoped, and now it’s all but up Can’t begin to watch another Fold me under some bandage Nothing ever stung redder But dreamt all of December, I’d

Hey, we're leaning closer than we’ll ever know Another year, you and I, we could have more to show Just wait, don't hit eject until the pressure builds Let's waste another eyelash asking for some help Oh better late than... Oh better late than... Days return to normal on the strangest terms A place to be together to forget we were You’ve got a head on your shoulders, no believe me Go spend your time on a dream no one’s achieving You bake the cake, and they share it when they eat it Don’t call it though it’s getting late You know the rush and the ride of breaking even Don't make the music you think they’re into hearing You're at the gate, set the taste and pin the feeling Don’t call it though it’s getting late Oh better late than... Call it Call it Oh better late than... Don’t call it though it’s getting late
